We are scratching our heads….

Trying to decide what to do for our next 4 cooking classes. The March 24th class is full, we will be offering the April classes on April 7th and April 21st; May classes will be the 5th and 19th. So now is the time to let us know what you would like to learn and we will add it to the menu. The classes are fun, of course they are because Kris and I teach them, as well as informative. They start at noon and are followed by a wine paired luncheon. The cost is $60 for everything, such a deal!

Oh, and by the way, we are at the Downtown Scottsdale Farmers Market every Saturday from 8 am (YAWN) to 1 pm. We are using the market to test out new items such as duck tacos with asian slaw. We are also offering do it yourself Tom Ka Gai kits which includes pre-portioned ingredients and the recipe, all you have to add is protein, mushrooms, and a little broth. It is a great way to impress your friends and family with home cooked Malees soup. Also, if there are any other items that you would like to purchase as a take home do it yourself kit, let me know. Pad Thai maybe?????????

March Cooking Classes

March 24th is the second class of the month and at this writing, the class will feature Siamese Kisses, Pla with Mango Salsa (the newest fav of our customers), Drunken Dragon Noodles and Deirdre’s Favorite Jalapeno Fried Rice. This menu may change if Kris wants to share some new recipes from Thailand. Stay tuned……

As always, the class starts with mimosas and is followed by a wine-paired luncheon with the items we demonstrated in class. The cost of the class is $60 plus tax; it goes from noon to 2:30. Please call 480 947-6042 for reservations.

Malee’s is celebrating 25 years in business… Come celebrate with us!!

I can’t believe that we have been around for 25 years, but it is true. The scary thing is that I have employees who are younger than Malees, oh well, time marches on and we are going stronger than ever. We will be doing some special events throughout the year, some are firmed up, some still in the planning process but all will be special.
